Wayne Bishop

Seasoned marketing and strategic business development executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in the electric power industry.

Proven ability to create new business opportunity with strong cross-functional experience in Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, and Contract Negotiation. Bishop regularly contributes to industry trade magazines and speaks at industry conferences. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and is a member of the IEEE PES Governing Board helping to lead a membership of over 45,000 people worldwide. Since 2019, Bishop has served as Vice President of Conferences and Meetings for IEEE PES. In this position he is responsible for the overall management of all IEEE PES Conferences worldwide including strategic planning, implementation and sustainability. Bishop also serves as a Senior Advisor at LUMA Energy, the electric utility in Puerto Rico. Bishop was recently appointed to the Merrimack College Board of Advisors for the School of Science and Engineering.
