2020 is such an extraordinary year. Due to the new crown virus epidemic, the entire world has been changed and it is a severe test for everyone. However, challenges also mean opportunities. I believe that in 2021, we will have a healthier and more tolerant attitude towards life; more advanced and humane modern technologies; and more effective and good governance methods. Women’s rights are human rights, and women’s growth is the progress of the entire society. The goal of WIP Newsletter is to increase the influence of PES women by sharing information about PES WIP activities around the world, bringing more Opportunities to our members, and achieving more female leaders in the power and energy sector. Everyone is welcome to provide information and keep your contributions in the history of WiP.

IEEE PES Women in Power Congress in Region 10

WiP IEEE PES Women in Power Congress in Region 10 was organized by IEEE WIE Affinity Group Bangladesh Section, IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE PES WIP of R10 on 12th & 13th September, 2020 from 4 PM to 8 PM (GMT+6). A world bank initiative WePower was the partner of the event.The event started with the program vision and brief shared by Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Professor, Dept. of EEE, BUET; Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section; PES WiP R10 Representative, is the General Chair, IEEE PES Women in Power Congress in Region 10. She is also the lead of two strategic partners of WePower, namely, IEEE PES Women in Power and IEEE Bangladesh Section.

Executive Summary of IEEE PES APPEEC Women in Power Forum 2020

WiP The 12rd IEEE PES APPEEC Women in Power (WIP) Forum was successfully held on 22th September 2020 in Nanjing, China. “Women in Power, Enhance the Future” was the theme of this year.
