WiP panel session on Enhancing and Retaining Women in Power and Energy Engineering

Abstract:

The demand for energy supply is increasing progressively in this age and time in every sector of human activities. There is need for an all-inclusive active participation by every gender. The role played by women to drive this growth is below the required level and is at the threshold with several limitations. This is a big source of concern to see a drive for more women to be involved in key roles in this ever growing demand. Though there are several challenges being attributed to this, these factors will be discussed and possible solutions derived alongside.
