Ana Manzanares

Ana Manzanares is an engineer at ComEd and works in the Smart Grid and Technology Department. ComEd is a unit of Chicago-based Exelon Corporation and one of the nation’s largest electric utilities in the nation. Ana’s ongoing work focuses on emerging technologies, including: Microgrids, energy storage, voltage and current stability and smart city applications which leverage ComEd’s mesh network. Through her work she is actively involved in shaping the future of ComEd through many of these cutting edge projects.

Prior to her role with the Smart Grid group, Ana was an Engineer in ComEd’s New Business group where she managed grid interconnection projects to connect new residential and commercial customers. Ana graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2007, and obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from Indiana University in 2009.
